“Samson” continues LifeHouse Theater’s unique take on biblical stories, following past productions of “Esther,” “Revelation,” “Job - A Modern Man” and “Noah.” This new musical takes a comedic view of the trials of Samson, reimagining his struggles as part of an ancient times wrestling organization. “Samson” is an amazing combination of biblical storytelling and the theatrics of pro wrestling, creating one of the most extraordinary productions to ever take place on the LifeHouse stage. Performances begin Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. and will continue on weekends through Oct. 12. Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:15 p.m. (except opening night) and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2:15 p.m. In addition to the weekend performances, there will be a special Thursday performance on Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. The performance on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. will feature an interpreted presentation for the deaf. Following “Samson,” LifeHouse Theater will present a ghostly mystery, “Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles.” Opening night is Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m. and will continue through Nov. 16. The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School.
