Two people were arrested for driving under the influence after Redlands police conducted a recent DUI checkpoint. In all, 844 vehicles passed through the checkpoint at the corner of Orange Street and Pearl Avenue between 8 a.m. Friday, March 27, and 1 a.m. Saturday morning. Additionally, one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant and four were cited for driving with suspended licenses. Another four were cited for driving without a valid license and one was cited for driving without a license in possession. Three people were cited for driving vehicles without current registration and one passenger was cited for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
