Redlands City Council invites community members to apply for a positon on a Utility Advisory Committee to participate in a study about water and wastewater.

The City Council invites members of the public to apply for a position on a Utility Advisory Committee for a Water and Wastewater Utilities Rate Study. The committee will be comprised of City water or wastewater customers. Elected officials and City employees may not apply. In accordance with the City’s Municipal Code, Committee members each serve a two-year term. The purpose of the committee is to provide a direct avenue of communication between the Council and the community regarding water and wastewater rates. The study will last approximately four months and will require members to attend four to six meetings held on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone interested in participating, may download an application from the City’s website at www.cityofredlands.org/commissions/openings or call the City of Redlands Municipal Utilities and Engineering Department at 798-7698, press ’0’.
