Restaurant Impossible host Robert Irvine will be coming to Redlands to take on the mission of renovating the Mill Creek Drive Thru.

Mill Creek Drive Thru in Redlands will become the next restaurant to undergo a transformation as the Food Network's popular "Restaurant Impossible" blazes into town. Hosted by Robert Irvine, known for the miracle restaurant makeovers he completes in two days and with just a $10,000 budget, Mill Creek is getting a facelift. Mill Creek Drive Thru has been a local gem to Redlands and is best known for its BBQ and western theme. Owners Steve and Lisette Brown will not see any of the work done until the restaurant's big unveiling. Volunteers are needed to come and assist in the restaurant's renovation process. Those who are interested in helping and in having fun in the process, may email nick@shootersinc.com and fill in the subject line: FN REDLANDS VOLUNTEERS. The volunteer shift hours are this Wednesday with the first shift from 1 to 8 p.m. and the second shift from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. There is an additional shift on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The grand reopening of Mill Creek Drive Thru will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. The restaurant is located at 2087 Orange Tree Ln., Redlands. "Let's all come out to show our support as a community and see the new and improved changes," said supporters of the project. Dec. 2 before 9 p.m. is the last day to visit before the restaurant undergoes its transformations. Be sure to stop by and enjoy the famous Cali burger and wish the crew good luck on their new Hollywood stardom.
