For local youth who love LEGOs, the Redlands Community Center will provide pre-engineering classes for children ages 5 to 6. Classes began Monday, March 10, and will continue daily from 9 a.m. to noon through March 14. The cost is $126 and scholarships are available. Kids will learn how to design and build projects such as boats, bridges, mazes and motorized cars. Engineering FUNdamentals using LEGO classes for kids ages 7-12 will begin Monday, March 17 and continue from 9 a.m. to noon through March 21. The cost is also $126. Apply real world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture and challenge your creativity through designs including bridges, skyscrapers and motorized cars. The Redlands Community Center is located at 111 W. Lugonia Ave.
