A 19-year-old Redlands man named Zachary James Watson was arrested minutes after he attempted to hold up a Wells Fargo bank branch on State Street in downtown Redlands. The suspect entered the bank branch at 220 E. State St. shortly before 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31. He approached a teller window, handed the teller a note and demanded money. After the teller refused to hand over the money, Watson left on foot and was apprehended by officers across the street from the bank.
