A University of Redlands Institute for Spatial Economic Analysis (ISEA) monthly study finds the overall year-over-year job growth in California remains steady but at a slower pace in August 2014. Most areas in both Northern California and Southern California show 1% to 3% moderate job increase. Southern California exerts the same pattern as August 2014 except for the Inland Empire that has slowed down the job growth rate showing only moderate job increase. The year-over-year job growth in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties has slightly decreased this month with the average job growth rate dropping from 2.98% in July 2014 to 2.78% in August 2014. The whole region appears green (1% to 5% moderate job growth) with only Muscoy showing idling status (-1% to 1% job growth) and no locations shedding jobs in August 2014.
