Redlands Police arrested a 35-year-old transient from Moreno Valley in connection with dozens of thefts from a Redlands Nike store over an approximately threemonth period. RPD Detectives identified Creushon Lee Bernstein as the primary suspect in 32 felony thefts of merchandise totaling more than $35,000 since August from the Nike store, located in the Mountain Grove Shopping Center at 27641 San Bernardino Ave. On Thursday, Oct. 26, Bernstein was located by officers and arrested. He is currently in custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $200,000 bail. During the investigation, police identified a second suspect involved in four of the thefts. He is currently in custody at West Valley Detention Center on unrelated charges.
