SAN BERNARDINO >> Residents and visitors can take part in movie nights for families to enjoy in July and August at the San Bernardino County Museum.
With movies screening at 7 p.m., families can bring a picnic and lawn chairs to enjoy movies for all ages.
The next movie set to screen at the museum will be "Rio" July 15. "Princess Bride" and "Robots" will screen in August.
For those over the age of 18, Alfred Hitchcock's horror movie "The Birds" will be shown July 29. The movie will be shown at the museum's outdoor amphitheater and guests are recommended to bring a pillow or stadium seat.
The movie event will also showcase the museums's renowned Wilson C. Hanna bird egg collection which is also the fifth largest collection in the world.
Aside from watching the classic movie, guest will also have the opportunity to enjoy ornithology arts and crafts tomfollery, DJ entertainment and aptly-named cocktails.
The movie events are free for museum members and $5 per person for non-members. Free popcorn will be supplied at each event.
Summer Movies at the Museum and the County Museum's other events and exhibits reflect the effort by the Board of Supervisors to achieve the Countywide Vision by celebrating arts, culture, and education in the county, creating quality of life for residents and visitors.
