REDLANDS>> The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Los Angeles Field Division is offering a $5,000 reward, combined with an additional $5,000 offered by the National Sports Shooting Foundation, for a total reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary and theft of firearms from a federal firearms licensee in Redlands, California. On Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a subject forced entry into FFL Gun Boss Armory located in the 1200 block of Indiana Court. The suspect stole several firearms and rounds of ammunition. An SUV was seen in the immediate area coinciding with the burglary. The suspect and the SUV were captured on video surveillance footage. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall with a slender build. At the time of the burglary, the suspect wore dark jeans, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark tennis shoes, dark gloves and a dark mask covering the lower half of his face. The reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF, the trade association for the firearms industry and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. Any information regarding these crimes can be reported to the Redlands Police Department or ATF Los Angeles.
