Police Chief to Hold Town Hall Meeting

Redlands Chief of Police Mark A. Garcia will discuss issues of local law enforcement and current crime trends and answer questions from the public during a town hall meeting Thursday, March 5. In addition to answering questions from the audience, Chief Garcia will also take questions live via the Redlands Police Department’s Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/RedlandsPoliceDepartment. Questions will be answered live online as time permits. The town hall will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the Ayres Hotel Conference Room, at 1015 W. Colton Ave. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. The regular town hall meetings give residents the opportunity to voice concerns and questions to continue community involvement in aspects of local government, a press release states. The police department hopes to accommodate residents unable to be present at the town hall meeting by taking questions via social media platforms.
